If you’re looking for an idea to celebrate Valentine’s Day, it’s not too late to do something sweet for your Valentine!

Date Jar idea posted by Life in a Green House
I found this Date Jar idea on Pinterest a few months ago and have been secretly plotting do my own version of this ever since.
You can see the original post Here. In this idea, the pinner was looking for a solution for when she and her husband couldn’t decide what they want to do and neither of them want to make the decision.
The popsicle sticks are color coded to signify different types of dates. I did something very similar, only I cheated by buying colored popsicle sticks at the craft store, rather than taking the time to spray paint them different colors.
I used Green for expensive dates and dates that require planning, Red for less expensive dates, Blue for cheap dates, and yellow for free or at-home dates.
If you don’t have time to put a date jar together, scroll down and see if you get a date idea from any that I used for our date jar!

I think this is a great idea! What fun, I think it’s a really good idea for people that have been married awhile too, and in my house nobody wants to be the one to decide where to go~ I think I’ll make a jar of just resturants and when we go out to eat draw one!
I like the Jar of Restaurants idea! We might have to try that too. And you can use the same concept of color coding them based on budget!
So creative … great idea! Have a fabulous Valentine’s Day!
